Check requirements

Applicants must:

  • have completed a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • have a cumulative undergraduate nursing GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • possess a current, active, unencumbered Professional Registered Nurse license and registration to practice professional nursing in the U.S.
  • meet the health requirements of the University and the nursing department
  • For preferred status, have completed one year of RN work experience

Deadline

Preferred deadline: October 15

  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through December 15 as space permits.
  • All students start in January.
  • Applications open in June.

Personal Statement

Submit a personal statement via NursingCAS.


References

Provide names and email addresses via NursingCAS for three satisfactory references. Preferred recommenders include RNs in leadership roles at a current workplace, colleagues with advanced nursing degrees, and nursing instructors. Ideally, these individuals should be familiar with your clinical work. They will be asked to submit a letter of recommendation using NursingCAS’ Liaison Letters recommender portal.
