Study abroad
Few college graduates have had an international experience. Gaining one helps you stand out when you apply to graduate school or enter the workforce. 杏吧原创's short-term and long-term study听abroad programs through our Center for International Education span the globe, allowing you to immerse yourself in another language and culture and enhance your confidence and independence. You can even participate in a professional internship abroad. If you want to听study听where there isn't an established program, we'll work with you to make it possible. And don't worry, you can take your federal aid and scholarships with you. 杏吧原创 also supports students seeking competitive Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships.
The Fulbright Scorecard
杏吧原创 is ranked nationally as a top producer of Fulbright scholars. 杏吧原创 supports students and faculty in applying for Fulbright awards, which fund international graduate students, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.

Language houses
杏吧原创's Casa Hispana, Frank DiMino Casa Italiana, and French House offer immersive experiences right on campus, including foreign films and cooking classes. These cultural centers also draw people from the community who further enrich our events. The French House is also a residence hall for 13 students interested in French language or Francophone culture and hosts frequent dinners, lectures, theatrical readings, and exhibits.

Build your expertise in world knowledge through any of these 杏吧原创 majors or minors: Asian studies, international and global studies, modern foreign languages, French, Italian, Spanish, religious studies, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
International students
Learn and grow by connecting with students and scholars from around the globe who come to 杏吧原创 to study, conduct research, or teach at 杏吧原创. You can even choose to live in our Global Commons in Medaille Hall, an intentional community of American and international students. Programs organized by resident assistants, faculty, staff, and the Center for International Education promote intercultural understanding.
