The Emerson Language Lab offers drop-in sessions with language partners/tutors - in person or via Zoom. Both options are available during the day; after 3:30 p.m. onlyÌýZoom is available. The language partners/tutors are student workers who are native speakers or have studied a foreign language extensively.Ìý
Language partner/tutor sessions start on Monday, September 14th in GAC-423.ÌýYou canÌýreserve sessionsÌýduring drop-in hours by logging into your ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ email and using yourÌý.
The Emerson Language Lab is closed on Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9thÌýfor Reading Days. The lab closes for Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 24th. It reopens on Monday, November 30th.
Most language partner/tutor hours are offered every week; some are offered in either Week 1 or Week 2. See alternating lab schedules below. Sessions are provided for the following languages at the following times:

ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´'s fully-equipped Emerson Language Lab hasÌý22 computers, headsets with microphones, and is used for an assortment of interactive multimedia activities. The Emerson Language Lab director and language partners facilitate the use of the lab.
Professors and students have assistance during their regular lab sessions.ÌýThere areÌýalso open lab timesÌýduring the fall 2026 semester, starting Tuesday, September 8th.
