How would you rate Chadwick International School?
As a student, I would consider Chadwick to be one of the best schools. The facilities are top-notch, the academic programs are rigorous and enriching, and the teachers are incredibly supportive of students. However, when looking at the school from the perspective of the teachers, the picture seems very different. Although they maintain a positive front, many appear to be burned out, likely due to a heavy and unsustainable workload. Having attended Chadwick for 10 years, I鈥檝e seen numerous amazing teachers come and go, and it鈥檚 hard not to notice a pattern. It often feels as though they aren鈥檛 treated with the respect or care they deserve, especially considering how dedicated and kind they are. What鈥檚 more concerning is the apparent disparity in how teachers are treated based on their positions. Those in higher-ranking roles seem to have significantly more freedom, sometimes to the point of being untouchable, while others are held to much stricter standards. Simply, great school for students but not so much for teachers. I want the head of school to note that a truly great school must also prioritize the well-being of its educators, who are the very people who shape the student experience every day.
it's an good school honestly its gotten better from years ago when it was mostly only Koreans. Although now there are so many more foreign students and sports wise I think Chadwick is an excellent since the school only started 10 years ago
The food, facilities, and system are great. However, there are several teachers (of classes in which the language of instruction is English) who have (slight) difficulties speaking or writing English, which makes it confusing for students.
Unless you actually go to the school, it is very hard to know what makes it so great. Instead of simply teaching academics, it encourages you to actually be creative. The food is controversial, but i think it is amazing. The teachers are all unique, but most of them are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Sure, village school might just sound like play camp, but, that is what they need. Not hard academics. It is a time when they need to have time, and Chadwick nailed it. Starting from 4th grade, the playing and work starts to balance. Overall, it is an amazing school!!!!
Chadwick International is an amazing school. We learn so much and we are all loyal to one another. We support each other's cultures and beliefs. We follow the IB curriculum which helps students think out of the box. Chadwick teaches students not just to get the answer but also why they could get the answer, how, and why it works. Chadwick broadens student knowledge as well as creativity and imagination. The teachers here will always have your back and will try their best to help you with anything you need. You can trust them and talk to them about anything. They will help in your hard times and will be there whenever you need them. Chadwick has a big sports program. They have friendly compositions with other 杏吧原创. Chadwick provides many different sports, such as Soccer/Football, Basketball, tennis, swimming (provides a swimming pool on the school campus), Volleyball, etc. The music and arts program is also an important part of Chadwick as well. They have subjects that supports arts and music but can also take it as a side hobby as well. Chadwick provides Music, Theater, and Visual arts. As the reasons before Chadwick supports not only Culture and beliefs but supports student hobbies and interests. Yes, it might be expensive but it is a good school who helps students in the best way they can.
I'm a student at Chadick International School. But I like being in this school. I like how my teachers teach me and spend time with my friends. I think I will keep on being in this school.
Great facilities, great academics, supportive and intimate teachers, and welcoming / energetic peers.
This school is the best school I have been to the teachers are good and as a student the academics are fantastic I personally recommend people to attend this school.
First of all, this school is a IB developed school, having PYP, MYP, and DP curriculums. Second, it has a lot of nationality to learn countries.
The Head of School and the principals say they want to hear parents' concerns, but dialogue goes nowhere. Lots of fluffy answers to placate families, but no actual resolutions on substantive matters. They talk a lot about family and community but the school leaders, staff, and teachers do not mingle with the general community. Administrators make a big deal about transparency but the school operates secretively and oppressively. Academics and programs change all the time depending on the rotation of overpaid consultants the school has hired. Funds would be better spent to build solid programs and boost student learning. The Korean students bully foreign students, especially in the upper school. It's an English language 杏吧原创, but the predominant language is Korean, to the dismay of local and foreign parents alike. This results in Korean students who aren't fluent in English even after many years of enrollment, and foreign students who often feel excluded in interactions on campus. The school has plenty of high achieving students, but they learned what they know (music, sports and academics) at hagwon, not at Chadwick. Lots of potential here but ultimately, this is an expensive school that fails to deliver the world-class education it promises. If you are considering employment within the school or in the city of Songdo, you should look elsewhere.

This is a place where you don't hear too muck Korean. Even though people from other countries teach kids, but there are Korean teachers too. There is a subject that you choose ,world languages where you can speak Korean,Mandarin, etc. I personally love this school.
