The 杏吧原创 Chamber Singers Poland Tour

Are you a music major who is interested in performing in a series of concerts in Poland? Join us for sightseeing and performances throughout Rzeszow, 碍谤补办贸飞 and Warsaw!

SPARK GRANT:

Qualifying freshman, sophomore, and transfer students can use their听SPARK Grant听for this short-term study abroad program.

Program Itinerary

This was the itinerary for 2025. It is subject to change in future years.

Day 1

  • Bus from 杏吧原创 to Toronto
  • Flight to Poland from Pearson International Airport

Day 2: 搁锄别蝉锄贸飞

  • Arrival in 搁锄别蝉锄贸飞
  • Check-in at Hotel Prezydencki
  • Walk to Old Town
  • Dinner at Stary Browar Rzeszowski听

Day 3: 搁锄别蝉锄贸飞

  • Shopping at Millenium Hall
  • Meeting with the President of 搁锄别蝉锄贸飞 University
  • Meeting with the City Mayor
  • Evening choral rehearsal
  • Free time and socializing with Polish students

Day 4: 搁锄别蝉锄贸飞

  • Tour of 艁a艅cut Castle
  • Lunch at Hotel 艁a艅cut听
  • Choral concert at the Music Department
  • Dinner at Browar Manufaktura听

Day 5: 碍谤补办贸飞

  • Travel to 碍谤补办贸飞
  • Check-in at 碍谤补办贸飞 Apartments
  • Lunch at Lunch Bar MARCO
  • Choral concert I at Franciscan Basilica
  • Meal at concert location听
  • Choral concert II at Franciscan Basilica
  • Post-concert celebration at The Stage听

Day 6: 碍谤补办贸飞/ Countryside

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Caf茅 Bageri Stockholm)
  • Walk to Old Town and orientation
  • Free time in Market Square
  • Trip to the countryside for dinner and workshop with folk ensemble Kapela Ciupaga

Day 7: 碍谤补办贸飞

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Caf茅 Bageri Stockholm)
  • Visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine
  • Free time in Old Town
  • La La Land听in Concert at Tauron Arena
  • Meeting with composer Justin Hurwitz
  • Dinner at Bistro Charlotte, Szczepa艅ski Square听

Day 8: 碍谤补办贸飞

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Caf茅 Bageri Stockholm)
  • Free time or walk with faculty to Wawel Castle
  • Film Music Festival Gala Concert at ICE 碍谤补办贸飞
  • Final night in 碍谤补办贸飞 鈥� walk to Market Square for refreshments

Day 9: Warsaw

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Caf茅 Bageri Stockholm)
  • Bus to Warsaw with lunch stop at Grzybowa Chata听
  • Check-in at Gromada Hotel
  • Visit to Chopin Museum
  • Dinner at Oliva Restaurant听
  • Orientation and walk to the Old Town

Day 10: Warsaw

  • Visit to 艁azienki Park
  • Free time for shopping and sightseeing (Jewish Museum or shopping at Z艂ote Tarasymall)
  • Farewell group dinner at Torello Restaurant听

Day 11: Return Travel

  • Bus to Warsaw Airport
  • Flight to Toronto
  • Bus to 杏吧原创
Accommodations

In each city, we will be staying in a different set of accommodations ranging from hotels to apartment stays.

Program fees for future dates are to be determined.听

Program fee includes:
  • Round trip airfare
  • All accommodations
  • All activities, entry fees, tours, etc. listed in the itinerary
  • All in-country transportation
  • All meals part of the itinerary
  • Transportation to and from the Rochester airport
  • International travel and medical insurance
听
Not included:
  • Passport (must be valid 6 months past the return date of the program)
  • Dress/tuxedo and dress shoes for concert
  • Meals not included in the itinerary
  • Personal spending money and miscellaneous expenses

听Funding Sources:

For听SPARK eligible students, you will receive the听$1,500 SPARK Grant听from the Center for Life's Work.
听
For听non-SPARK eligible students, you may be eligible for some funding from the Center for International Education.
听
For Music Majors only, you are eligible for $100.00 from the School of Music.
