As a student, I would consider Chadwick to be one of the best schools. The facilities are top-notch, the academic programs are rigorous and enriching, and the teachers are incredibly supportive of students. However, when looking at the school from the perspective of the teachers, the picture seems very different. Although they maintain a positive front, many appear to be burned out, likely due to a heavy and unsustainable workload. Having attended Chadwick for 10 years, I鈥檝e seen numerous amazing teachers come and go, and it鈥檚 hard not to notice a pattern. It often feels as though they aren鈥檛 treated with the respect or care they deserve, especially considering how dedicated and kind they are. What鈥檚 more concerning is the apparent disparity in how teachers are treated based on their positions. Those in higher-ranking roles seem to have significantly more freedom, sometimes to the point of being untouchable, while others are held to much stricter standards. Simply, great school for students but not so much for teachers. I want the head of school to note that a truly great school must also prioritize the well-being of its educators, who are the very people who shape the student experience every day.

The food, facilities, and system are great. However, there are several teachers (of classes in which the language of instruction is English) who have (slight) difficulties speaking or writing English, which makes it confusing for students.
